St. George’s is a worshiping
community that extends its faith in action. Our style is broad Anglican and
we love Anglican music. Our average Sunday attendance is 233, at
three worship services. We would love for you to
visit us in person—not so you can join us, but so we can join you. We worship with and foster development of other Christian congregations. St. George’s founded the oldest Spanish-language Episcopal congregation in Northern Virginia, Iglesia San José, which continues to worship on our premises. We also share our “sacred space” with the Amanuel Ethiopian Evangelical congregation. |

The
Episcopal Church continues two millennia of catholic and apostolic tradition dating from Christ himself. The Episcopal Church is part of the world-wide
Anglican Communion.
We have a page for
sharing information about our General Convention to be held in 2009. |

There are some 77 million members of
Anglican Communion
churches. The Anglican Communion is part of the world-wide Body of Christ…
We don’t, ourselves, maintain an Anglican Communion page but instead refer
you to either the Anglican Communion’s website, above, or the unofficial
(and highly popular) Anglicans
Online site.

The Body of Christ includes Christians of all denominations throughout the world. Their exact perspectives may differ somewhat, but we all agree the Jesus points the way to God.
