St. George's Music and Arts Ministry
St. George's Music and Arts ministry seeks to feed God's people through music and the arts. We pray that through our efforts, we may see glimpses of God's unveiled beauty.

Saint George’s is a singing congregation with a great love for music. We invite you to come and join us in offering our musical prayer and praise to God.
Cantors
St. George’s maintains a roster of trained cantors that assist with leading the liturgy as needed. Cantors usually serve in the role of psalmist, proclaiming the psalm of the day. Cantors also assist in leading the congregation in its sung liturgical responses. Training is provided to all cantors. To be added to the Cantor roster, please contact Ben Keseley, Music Director.
Instrumentalists
St. George’s welcomes instrumentalists to share their gifts in worship through a variety of ways. If you wish to share your gifts in worship, please contact Ben Keseley to be added to the instrumentalist’s roster.
Organist’s Assistants
Children in grades 3-12 are invited serve as an Organist Assistant. Help the organist by turning pages for preludes, postludes, and anthems, marking hymns in the hymnal, assisting with organ registration changes (changing sounds on the organ), and giving pitches to the cantor and choir. If you would like to become an Organist’s Assistant, contact Ben Keseley for more information.

Our Organ
The 23rank Newcomer organ was rebuilt in the 1950’s from an older Möller, and has been updated and maintained periodically over time and is now in serious disrepair. At the request of the Music Director (Spring 2010), the Vestry has commissioned an Organ Task Force to begin a year-long education and research process to determine our future course of action.
