Men’s group 9/12
The men of the parish meet
on first Saturdays at 8:00 AM in Room 212 for fellowship and Bible study. We serve a light breakfast at 8:00 AM and
discuss from 8:30 AM to
9:30 AM in Room 212. If you have trouble getting in the church’s front door,
please call 703-300-6574. This will be our last meeting until after Labor
Day.
Ministry Fair 9/13
The annual
Ministry Fair will be held Sunday, September
13, in the parish hall
between the 9:00 and 11:00 AM worship services. Representatives of the
ministries areas are encouraged to begin preparing signs, calendars,
announcements, brochures, job descriptions and other informative and
eye-catching display items for their ministry's booth.
And we will have
registration for all parents to enroll their children in Sunday School (if
they have not yet done so
online).

Parish picnic 9/20
Our parish
picnic will be held this Sunday at
Bluemont Park from noon to 3:30 PM. The
grill will run from 12:30 to 2:00 PM. The Fellowship Committee will provide
hot dogs, hamburgers, drinks, and paper supplies—everything else is potluck.
So that we have a wide variety of foods, please use the following guidelines
if possible: Last name A-H bring dessert; I-Q bring a side dish; R-Z bring a
salad. Everybody: bring your sports equipment, outdoor games, and an appetite
for fun.
