Many refugees were skilled professionals in their home countries yet are working in low skills jobs in the US. This is a waste of talent – for both the individual and our community. You can help change this at an event co-hosted by One Journey, IFC Young Professionals Network, and NOVA Friends of Refugees.
We need volunteers to:
• Mentor skilled refugees on job search and resume building
• Provide event support (e.g., clean up, set up, etc.)
To sign up as a volunteer for this event, please complete the information requested in the form at the following link:
For questions, please email 1Journeyfestival@gmail.com. Visit and follow One Journey's facebook and www.onejourneyfestival.com
NOTE: One Journey must provide a complete list of the full names of all event participants to IFC before the event so that all participants can access the IFC building. All participants also must bring an official I.D. to show the security staff upon arrival and entrance.
